SAVI (School Access Control Vulnerability Index)

This class will provide the student with the knowledge to conduct a non-product specific SAVI, School Access-control Vulnerability Index, review of a school to show the presence, or lack thereof, of systems and structures aimed at limiting an active shooter from gaining access. The student will be shown how to properly conduct a site survey and what to look for during the survey. Items on the index will be broken down into the 3 main areas for review, Exterior protection, Interior protection and Interior locking. At the conclusion of the course, the student will be certified to conduct a SAVI report and will be awarded a certificate of completion.
